10th Annual Class BreakfastOctober 1, 2016
The Class of 1966 of Mifflinburg High School held its Annual Class Breakfast, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Country Cupboard in Lewisburg.
Following breakfast we visited Hackenberg Apiaries, where fellow classmate Dave Hackenberg gave us a tour of his Honey Bee facility. Dave is considered a world class expert on Honey Bees and was interviewed on 60 Minutes several years ago as well as several other TV and radio stations about the decimation of Honey Bees throughout the continental United States. Dave brought us up to date on what is being done in the Bee farming business. We sampled different honey and were able to purchase our favorites. We had an informative and delicious experience.
Thank you Dave and Linda Hackenberg.
