4th Annual Class BreakfastJune 5, 2010
The 4th Annual Class of 1966 breakfast was held Saturday morning, June 5, 2010 at Carriage Corner in Mifflinburg with 18 classmates and a total of 30
people attending.
The invocation was provided by Clair Kuhns and a moment of silence to remember classmates Barb (Morrison) Dietrich and Chet Knoonsman who passed away in the past year. Cliff Valentine read emails from classmates not able to attend the breakfast. Janet Hackenberg gave a Treasurer's Report, We now have 49 email addresses for classmates (45% of the class). The goal is to have at least 50% off all classmates email addresses by our 45th Class Reunion. Email addresses will keep future costs of mailing notification of events and at the same time provide a communication link for class members.
Volunteers were ask for the planning of the 45th Class Reunion. We are off to a good start with five people volunteering. More people are needed, so drop an email or call if you are willing to help plan our next reunion. Also discussed were ideas for the next reunion such as the high school or community park with meal catered, possibly to hold it in the fall away from summer events, and an idea to have all the class veterans bring their uniforms to see who best fits into the uniforms. .
The class breakfast is a less formal get together which allows more time for talking with fellow classmates.
