3rd Annual Class BreakfastJune 6, 2009
The 3rd Annual Class of 1966 breakfast was held Saturday morning, June 6, 2009 at Carriage Corner in
Mifflinburg with 25 classmates and a total of 42 people attending.
The invocation was provided by Tom Styers and a moment of silence to remember classmates Dave Seebold and Terry Shively who passed away in the past year. Judy Willow read notes and emails from classmates not able to attend the breakfast. Cliff Valentine provided the Treasurer's Report (click here to read), Cliff Valentine provided an update on the class email system. We now have 46 email addresses for classmates (over 40% of the class). The goal is to have at least 50% off all classmates email addresses by our 45th Class Reunion. Email addresses will keep future costs of mailing notification of events and at the same time provide a communication link for class members. Cliff Valentine reported on the class website and encouraged classmates to give Bruce Boney information for the website and pictures from our younger days for the website.
On a sad note it was learned that classmate Barb (Morrison) Dietrich had passed away earlier that morning.
The class breakfasts will continue annually as interest has definitely been shown in the three years we have held this event. In the 3 years of holding class breakfasts, a total of 41 different classmates have attended at least one breakfast. The class breakfast is a less formal get together which allows more time for talking with fellow classmates.
