Linda L. (Wallace) Vonada

Linda L. Vonada, 71, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.

She was born April 27, 1948, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Violet Dolly I. (Reigle) Wallace of Mifflinburg and the late Earl W. Wallace. On November 18, 1972, she married Terry Lee Vonada, who preceded her in death February 4, 2013.

Linda was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed as a teller at Mifflinburg Bank & Trust Co.

Linda was a member of the Hillside Bible Church, Mifflinburg.

Linda was tenacious, strong and compassionate and stuck to her opinions. She was an advocate for her family and friends. Linda gave to many charities over the years and did not like to see people go without.

She enjoyed Penn State football and you could often see her sporting a t-shirt or sweatshirt supporting her team. Linda also supported Mifflinburg High School football and often could be found pulled up to the fence enjoying the game with family and friends. In the summertime, Linda enjoyed swimming in her pool and having pool parties with friends and family.

Linda loved visits from her familys dogs. She loved meeting the new puppies and always kept a stash of treats to share by her chair.

Linda was a born-again Christian who is rejoicing in heaven with her Savior. She would want you to know that no matter the obstacle, there is hope in Christ, just use His strength.

One of Linda's most important events in life was her marriage to Terry, she missed him very much when he passed. She also got to spend the last few years with her mother.
