Eva Florence (Britton) Keister

Eva Florence Keister, 64, of Middleburg, formerly of Laurelton and Shamokin, passed away at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

She was born on July 19, 1948, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Robert and June Britton. On May 19, 2008, in Laurelton, she married Donald E. Keister who survives.

Eva was a 1966 graduate of Shamokin High School.

She drove flag car for Debbie's Flag Car Service for seven years.

She attended West End Bible Fellowship, Laurelton. She was a member of the Sons of Italy, Shamokin, Knights of Columbus, Shamokin, New Berlin of American Legion, Post 957 Ladies Auxiliary, and Mifflinburg VFW Post 196 Ladies Auxiliary.

Eva enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, camping, and fishing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Dawn Wagner, of Mifflinburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dina and Eloy Campos, of Danville, and Kelly and James Wagner, of Frackville; six sisters, Ruth Miscavage, of Shamokin, Elise Adams, of Shamokin, Barbara Frazier, of Shamokin, Lee Britton, of Shamokin, Alberta Britton, of Harrisburg, and Mary Britton, of Mount Carmel; three brothers, Robert Britton Jr., Charles Britton and Andrew Britton Sr., all of Shamokin; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son in infancy, William K. Rushoe; one sister, Gracie Forbes; one brother, Harry Britton; and one brother-in-law, James Petrovich.
